Who am I?

I'm Alya, a Psychology student from Sultan Idris Education University ( UPSI ) in Malaysia. I was born in 2005, I reside in Kuala Lumpur, and grew up with the internet culture of the 2010s. I have lived in multiple states throughout my life, including Sarawak.

I was an ex-MRSM IGCSE student, but I left at Form 2 due to bullying. I continued the rest of my high school education at a normal public high school, then went to continue my studies into the national matriculation program. I fought tooth and nail and was then offered a Bachelors of Psychology with Honours in UPSI. And here I am, sacrificing my sweet hours of sleep to continue my dean's list streak ( worth it ).

As a former bully victim, I am a big advocate for mental health and therapy. I am part of UPSI's Psych Association in organizing national level psychology-related programs, and I am a teacher for a rehabilitative program called Playgroup Patch. When I am not busy being bossed over in the programs I join, I draw art, play games, eat, read, write, sleep, and listen to Malcolm Todd while doing all of these. My music taste is very broad. I love John Mayer. I have a Nintendo Switch that I power on once every month.
